Miranda Austin, PT, MPT, NCS, CBIS has a special interest in neurologic disorders. She is an American Physical Therapy Association certified neurologic clinic specialist (NCS) and an American Brain Injury Association certified brain injury specialist (CBIS). Miranda works with patients who have suffered from brain injuries, strokes, Parkinson’s disease, or multiple sclerosis.
Miranda earned a master's degree in physical therapy from Eastern Washington University.
Joy Crist PT, MPT, GCS, Cert. MDT specializes in geriatrics and disorders of the spine including back pain, neck pain, and spinal cord injuries. She is also an experienced general orthopedic clinician.
Joy earned a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Nebraska. She has been board certified in geriatrics and has advanced certification in mechanical diagnosis and therapy through the McKenzie Institute.
Karissa Cummings, MS, CF-SLP is a medical speech-language pathologist with a special interest in cognition-communication and swallowing disorders resulting from acquired brain injuries. She also has passion for treating language, speech, and voice disorders, as she firmly believes that everyone deserves the ability to communicate their needs, thoughts, and ideas with the world around them.
Karissa has had experience working with patients of all ages and with diverse backgrounds. She frequently works with traumatic brain injuries, concussions, strokes, dementia, and various neurodegenerative diseases. She seeks to refine her skills and understanding of best assessment and treatment practices through daily professional growth and continued education.
Outside of work, Karissa loves to spend her time with family, listening to audiobooks, and trying—though often failing—new recipes.
Kristi Fregia Rucks, PT works with a wide variety of patients and has a special interest in helping people attain a healthier, more active lifestyle. Her areas of interest include cancer rehab, chronic pain, and bariatric patients. Kristi is certified in dry needling through Integrative Dry Needling and enjoys using this therapy to help her patients reach their maximum level of function.
Kristi has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient orthopedics, home health, geriatrics, inpatient rehabilitation, and inpatient hospital care.
Kristi earned her bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Mount St. Mary's College. In her free time, she enjoys bicycling and UTV sports with her family.
Jeffrey D. Himes, MOT, OTR/L, CEAS, CFCE, CDRS works primarily with outpatient adult rehabilitation. He has professional interests in occupational health, hand rehabilitation, clinical driving assessments, and stroke and other neurological disorders.
Jeffrey earned his undergraduate degree as an occupational therapy assistant from Salt Lake Community College, and his master's degree in occupational therapy from Nova Southeastern University.
Melissa Jones, MA, CCC-SLP is a medical speech-language pathologist with a special interest in swallowing, swallowing disorders, and acquired brain injuries, such as stroke and concussion. She has training in videofluoroscopic swallow studies and swallow endoscopy.
Melissa is passionate about interdisciplinary care and loves being a part of the care team. She is dedicated to promoting patient empowerment through education and places patients and their families at the core of her practice.
During her graduate school training, Melissa completed an internship at Scripps Hospital Encinitas where she worked extensively with active military rehabilitating from brain injuries. She is enthusiastic about continuing her education and professional growth, attending seminars and skills-training whenever possible.
When not at work, Melissa enjoys archery, reading, and spending time with family.
Coreen W. Keller PT, PTDN, MPT, NCS, CSRS specializes in neurological rehabilitation and is also licensed in dry needling. She has received professional certifications for neurological clinical specialization (NCS) and certified stroke rehabilitation specialist (CSRS). She currently sees patients in the outpatient rehabilitation clinic.
Coreen earned her master's degree in physical therapy at the University of Utah.
Deb Lister, OT provides occupational therapy rehabilitation services in the acute care, outpatient, and home health settings. Deb is a certified lymphedema therapist (CLT) and offers lymphedema and edema management services for adults recovering from cancer surgery and traumatic injuries, as well as adults with congestive heart failure, chronic venous stasis, and peripheral vascular disease.
Deb earned a master's degree in occupational therapy from Chicago State University.
Kabre Madrigal, PT, DPT has a wide variety of experience in treating patients with various impairments in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her professional interests include neurology, chronic pain management, and general orthopedics. She is passionate about prioritizing patient education, evidence-based practice, and a holistic approach to health.
Kabre earned her bachelor's degree in exercise physiology from the College of Idaho and her doctor of physical therapy degree from Idaho State University.
