Lymphedema Care

Lymphedema is a collection of fluid that causes swelling (edema) in the arms and legs. You may experience lymphedema because you have had lymph nodes removed or your lymph nodes are damaged or not functioning properly. Lymph nodes are often removed during breast cancer surgical treatments.

Your lymphedema therapist will perform massage and wrapping to reduce swelling until you’re ready for self-management. If you need compression garments, we’ll provide you with customized options. Our goal is for lymphedema to cause minimal disruption to your life.
