Investing in Community Health

Protecting access to health care in rural areas is a challenge. Your generosity enables St. Luke’s McCall to continue to provide the technology and skilled staff to offer a range of services not usually found in critical access hospitals.

There are many ways you can support local health care resources, such as making a financial gift, attending events, or volunteering your time. Everyone has a unique contribution to make, and we encourage you to get involved.

Funding Priorities in McCall

St. Luke’s McCall’s ability to deliver exceptional care now and in the future hinges on recruiting and retaining skilled health care workers. Access to affordable and stable housing is critical to attracting this talent—especially in a competitive, post-pandemic health care job market.

St. Luke’s McCall Foundation and the McCall Memorial Hospital District are committed to finding innovative solutions to support our health care workforce. This project is a vital step toward ensuring our caregivers can continue delivering high-quality care to our community.

St. Luke’s McCall Foundation is actively building the first fourplex on Mission Street that will provide family housing to St. Luke's McCall staff in need.

Foundation Details

Health care in our region has always been shaped by the generosity of our community and our shared determination to take care of our families and our neighbors. Since it was built in 1956, our hospital—and the communities it serves—has benefited greatly from philanthropic support. This community support has allowed us to purchase advanced medical equipment, upgrade facilities, and recruit exceptional physicians to our rural setting.

Our mission is to assist the hospital in its efforts to enhance the health of the community and advance medical excellence. This is accomplished now through directed giving and grants and into the future through the development and management of the endowment.
